AWANA is our Wednesday evening program for children from 3 years old (by September 1, 2018) through 8th grade. The purpose of this program is to develop spiritually strong children who grow up as faithful Christ followers. AWANA meets at 6:00 pm each Wednesday evening during the school year.
We offer three different age related AWANA classes:
Cubbies - designed for 3 and 4 year olds. This program uses handbooks written in a fun, storybook style that appeals to preschoolers. Each section combines basic Scripture memory with parent-child activities to help a child grasp simple biblical truths.
Sparks - designed for Kindergarten-2nd grade. This program takes kids deeper into God’s Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to understand their need to trust Christ as their personal Savior.
Truth and Training (T &T) - designed for 3rd through 5th graders. This program strives to teach boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
Middle School Students (6th-8th grade) help serve in our different classes.
Just in case you were curious, AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.
